The Designer

 

Jennifer White-Torres was born in Washington, D.C. She earned her B.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Her current studies have led her work with various non-profits and youth-oriented organizations in Baltimore City with a focus on social design projects.

Her design philosophy is based on the words of Herbert Marcuse, "Design has the power to educate and to heal, it possesses the repsonsibility to bring about change, to reveal what is hidden, and unleash the hope that is within."
